Policy Council members are elected every two years through an anonymous vote by CMCA members to ensure fairness, transparency, and equal participation.
Munkhtuvshin Uuld
Chairwoman
Munkhtuvshin.U is elected as the first Chairwoman of the Calgary Mongolian Community Association (CMCA), where she plays a key leadership role in guiding Council members, supporting and coordinating the management team, and fostering unity within the Mongolian community in Calgary. She is committed to helping build a transparent, inclusive, and participatory organization that encourages collaboration, information sharing, and strong community engagement.
Munkhtuvshin has lived and worked in Calgary for more than 15 years and has actively contributed to the Mongolian community by helping organize and support various community events and initiatives that strengthen cultural connection and community participation. Her professional background includes experience as a teacher, interpreter, and medical administrative assistant, through which she has developed strong communication, organizational, and cross-cultural skills.
Myagmarsuren Nasanbuyan
Policy Council Member
Myagmarsuren.N is committed to helping build a strong, transparent, and sustainable CMCA by supporting governance development, expanding community programs, increasing participation among Mongolians and supporters, and strengthening the organization’s long-term capacity. His vision includes supporting the establishment of a Mongolian school, improving documentation systems, recognizing volunteers and donors, identifying sustainable funding sources, and promoting Mongolian language, history, culture, and traditions within the wider Canadian community and beyond.
He has more than 20 years of community leadership and public service experience, including over 10 years in leadership roles. Professionally, he is a Journeyman Electrician with extensive experience in the energy sector as an electrician, master electrician, design engineer, project manager, senior engineer, researcher, and department manager.
Gantsetseg Batmunkh
Policy Council Member
Gantsetseg.B is committed to helping bring the CMCA to the next level by supporting community programs, initiatives, and projects through her professional experience, leadership, and diverse skill set. She is passionate about contributing to a stronger, more active, and community-focused organization that supports the growth and well-being of Mongolians in Calgary.
Gantsetseg graduated from the Mongolian National University of Medical Sciences with a degree in General Medicine in 2008 and completed her specialization in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2010. She later received advanced training in Gynecological Ultrasound in Shanghai, China. With more than 10 years of medical experience, she currently works at Atria Retirement Canada as a Hospitality Manager and Assistant General Manager. She speaks English, Spanish, and Mandarin Chinese.
Lkhamdulam Natsagdorj

Lkhamdulam Natsagdorj is committed to building the CMCA into a sustainable and impactful organization by contributing her management skills to strengthen community initiatives, organizational systems, and long-term community engagement. She played a leading role in the establishment of CMCA, drawing on her experience in participatory development approaches to help create a transparent, inclusive, and community-driven organization. Passionate about supporting and empowering her heritage community, Lkhamdulam believes in creating opportunities that encourage collaboration, participation, and meaningful community development.
She has extensive experience in grassroots and community-based organization development in Mongolia, including work focused on participatory community engagement and nonprofit leadership. In Canada, she began working as a medical interpreter while also building a rental arbitrage business that supports accessible and affordable housing solutions in Calgary.
Munkhtelmen Batdelger
Policy Council Member
As a member of the Policy Council at the CMCA, Temka Batdelger plays an important role in helping the organization better understand and address the needs, interests, and aspirations of youth within the community. Elected during CMCA’s first Policy Council election, Temka is committed to strengthening youth engagement by creating opportunities for young people to connect with their Mongolian heritage, culture, community involvement, and professional networking.
Temka is currently a third-year psychology student at Mount Royal University and is passionate about understanding human behavior and mental health. His long-term goal is to become a therapist and support individuals in building healthier and more fulfilling lives. Outside of his studies, Temka is an active member of the Child’s Care Collective, where he has contributed to organizing community events and fundraising initiatives, further developing his leadership, teamwork, and organizational skills while giving back to the community.
