Calgary Mongolian Community Association (CMCA) · www.cmcamongolia.com Effective April 1, 2026 · Version 2.0

Agreement

By using www.cmcamongolia.com you agree to these terms. Alberta law governs. Disputes go to mediation first, then Alberta courts.

Age

18+ to create an account independently. Ages 13–17 need parental consent. Under 13 may not register.

Using the site

Use the site lawfully and respectfully. Do not post harmful, false, or discriminatory content. Do not use bots, impersonate others, or attempt unauthorized access. CMCA may remove content and suspend accounts at any time without notice.

Your account

Keep your password secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account. CMCA will never ask for your password by email or phone.

Your rights

Your rights Under Alberta PIPA and PIPEDA you may access, correct, delete, or withdraw consent for your information at any time. Email info@cmca.ca — we respond within 30 days.

Forum

Be respectful. No spam, hate speech, harassment, or copyright infringement. Moderators may remove posts. Repeat violations result in account suspension. You keep ownership of your posts but grant CMCA permission to display and archive them for community purposes.

Content submissions — events, ads, photos

You confirm submitted content is accurate and you have the right to submit it. For photos, all identifiable people — and for minors, their parent or guardian — must have consented. CMCA may edit, decline, or remove submissions without explanation. Removed photos are deleted from the active site within 30 days.

Events

Registration is subject to availability. If CMCA cancels an event, fees are refunded within 10 business days. Attending a public CMCA event means photography may occur for community communications — opt out by notifying staff before the event.

Donations

Donations are non-refundable except for verified payment processing errors reported within 30 days. Monthly donations can be cancelled at any time at cmca2026@gmail.com or through the member portal.

Intellectual property

All CMCA-created content is protected by Canadian copyright law. You may share links and print pages for personal use. You may not reproduce CMCA content commercially without written permission.

Your responsibility

You agree to cover CMCA's costs if your actions or content cause harm to the organization or others. This does not apply where harm results from CMCA's own gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

Limits of our liability

CMCA provides the site as-is. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, content posted by other users, or third-party service failures. This does not apply to personal injury or CMCA's gross negligence.

Disputes

Step 1 — email cmca2026@gmail.com. Step 2 — mediation via MRJC Calgary if unresolved in 30-60 days. Step 3 — Alberta courts. Claims under $50,000 CAD may use Alberta Small Claims Court.

Changes

Minor updates posted on this page. Significant changes emailed to members 14 days in advance.

Language

In any conflict between the English and Mongolian versions, English prevails.
